I don't usually rag on Taylor Swift, mostly because I shamefully admit that I listened to her early stuff, but also because I just really think we should let the girl do whatever she wants. Even if she keeps trying to hang on to meaningless relationships for dear life, BE FREE GIRL, BE FREE. It has been an interesting year for Taylor Swift's reputation (pun intended). Though, after a few months in hiding and the release of a new album, it seems like Taylor's year is ending on a high note. This time around, I have to report on something quite literally angelic that Taylor Swift has done for one of her fans. Whatever you think of the girl, if there's one thing she seems to truly be devoted to- it's her fans. Taylor meets them in person, poses for photos, and passes out free merch. She shares advice with them personally on Tumblr. She has even gone as far as to invite them into her home so they can be the first to listen to her new albums. After all, she built a social network around them. On her app, The Swift Life which officially launched on Friday, December 15th, fans can share stories, photos, and memes of Swift, and then vote for their favorites to be sent to Swift herself. According to JustJared, on The Swift Life app, a female fan revealed that the singer helped her purchase a home after she was homeless for eight months during her pregnancy. As Stephanie explained, she and Swift had allegedly built a friendship; it appears that Waw was an early fan. At some point, Waw’s mother reached out to Swift to tell her that Waw (who was eight months pregnant at the time) had lost her apartment. It had been condemned for “health and safety reasons.” Essentially leaving her and her partner homeless while she was pregnant. Though when Stephanie attended Taylor Swift's concert in Manchester, she was able to meet the singer backstage and something amazing happened. Stephanie wrote: "I’ve been contemplating posting this story for a while. I’ve finally decided to tell you all what Taylor did for me this night. After the show Taylor took us back to her dressing room where she told me, 'Stephanie, You’ve been in my life for a long time and you’ve never asked me for anything. You could have reached out and I would have helped you. But you didn’t. [Your] mum told me..'" Stephanie had no idea where this was going, Taylor used the false pretense of a reimbursement for the tickets... She continued: "She told me she wanted to give me the money back for my ticket that night. What she actually did was help us buy a home and all I needed for my baby. She told me 'I want you to be able to enjoy your little girl, not have to worry about all this stuff.'" https://twitter.com/tswiftpower/status/943999740714287104 Stephanie also mentioned how her partner, Matthew, lost his job during this time. The situation just got worse and worse, so Taylor did as Taylor tends to do, stepped in and saved the day. This story has not been confirmed by Taylor herself or the singer's team, though as we've learned, helping out her fans is definitely in Swift's nature.
