Bust out the tissues for this one guys, it is a tearjerker. Little Muneca was abandoned at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center in Los Angeles, which also happens to be a kill shelter... Despite Muneca being incredibly sweet, she is 18 and blind, so she was put up on doggy Death Row. Seemingly lost and without purpose she was shown one last act of kindness by Elaine Seamans, who is a frequent volunteer at the shelter and friends with all the other animals. On this day, Elaine was visiting with John Hwang, they were there to take some photos of possible adoptees. Elaine arrived before him and when he finally found her, he walked in on the now famous hug between Muneca and Elaine. When Elaine picked her up Muneca was clinging on to her so much, it was impossible to let go. John Hwang stepped in took a few more pictures of beautiful Muneca. The picture was posted on social media and after being at the shelter for only two days Muneca's online popularity gained her a lot of followers. The photo caught thousand's attention but also Frosted Faces Foundation, a non-profit rescue for senior dogs, together by the masses they were able to get her off of death row. Muneca went from being completely unwanted and disabled to having a line of people outside the shelter anxiously waiting to meet her. But that is not even the best part.
